On the back are the old numbers 24 and 401 and a label with the description of "La Tete de lHomme" On the back by the hand of the author: Janousek, The head of a man 1933 There is a Still Life performed on the back of the painting by oil provenance: - owned by the author - significant private collection of Surrealist art (including Czech) Limoges, France published: Jindrich Chalupecky: Frantisek Janousek, published by Odeon Praha 1991 (photography painter with a picture on page 104). Appended the restoration assessment from Vera Cedlova (restorer of the National Gallery in Prague). Appended the expertize (authentication) from Dr. Karel Srp.
