In the back there is an old seal of Charles Sedlmayer (one of key world art dealers, and a Vaclav Brožík’s father-in-law), and inventory collection numbers. Restorer’s report by academic painter Vera Cedlova (restorer working at the National Gallery in Prague) attached. Provenance: Originally part of Rodman Wanamaker’s collection in New York. A copy of letter attached. This letter confirms that the painting bough by Mr.Svoboda from John Wanamaker comes from the Brožík collection of Rodman Wanamaker, 31.7.1940.
