Signature not found (the painter usually did not sign his works) The painting is a pendant to another painting by J.J.Hartmann, Riverside landscape with a village and fishermen sold at the Evening Sale in Prague, on 10 November 2010. Restorer’s report by academic painter Vera Cedlova (restorer at the National Gallery in Prague) attached. Consulted with PhDr Hana Seifertova, who has confirmed the authenticity of the artwork (she is an Old Masters expert working at the National Gallery in Prague, and she is also one of the most knowledgeable experts of the work of J.J.Hartmann)
