On the back there is author’s stamp: Josef Liesler, academic painter, Prague- Lesser Town, Mostecká 26, ČSSR On a blind frame there is a stamp from the exhibit and an inscription ‘Mensch und Katedrale,’ and another exhibit stamp Provenience: Important Vienna Collection Josef Liesler is an important member of Czech Modern Art culture. He is a symbol of the continuity of pre-war and post-war development and tradition.
