It is the last paintig of Frantisek Kupka which was gained by Jindrich Waldes.
The picture is mentioned in the catalogue of Jan and Meda Mládek‘s collection, according to which it is (the page Krajina) an unfinished version, belonging to the study Švýcarská krajina (at present it is a part of Meda Mládek Foundation’s collection). It is possible to take it that it is a future Kupka’s wife on the page with the picture Žena, on the page with the picture Krajina it could be Kupka himself. The picture belongs among few Kupka’s oil-paintings from the famous Waldes’ picture gallery. There is a restorer rewiev available – concerning a possible remove of the crossing on the page Krajina.
