Provenance

Collection of one of the most famous Czech slavists dr. Josef Karásek (1868–1916) and his wife Melanie Karásková in Vienna between 1908 and 1934. In 1934 a will of Melanie Karásková transferred to property. professor of Czech history literature dr. Miloslav Hysk (1885–1957) and later his family.
